Opaque But Not Too Opaque

Recommended Posts

Customer wants to use film on new glass to closely match the appearance of existing glass which is not filmed but is somewhat translucent.

Film would need to have a smooth finish.  Have looked at 3M Milano, LLumar NRMPS2 and Solyx White Matte and they each block more than the customer would want.  Can anyone recommend a film that might work?

Don't have pics.  Have sent an email asking if Solyx can recommend one of their films.  A lot of companies seem to have similar frost/translucent films that look basically the same and don't work for this application.

Any pictures of existing glass? Have you looked at Solyx website (decorativefilms.com)?
