2015 Cla 250 Mercedes

For those who are still wondering, the antenna and UMTS module are both located under the parcel shelf.

No wires running towards the trunk.

We always just remove those two modules and never have any problem with key not detected.

The pictures are taken from a 2016 model.

Good evening. I just did a 2016 cla a couple days ago, same problem ( key not detected) . It is winter here in Canada obviously. I got a message today in the morning saying it works again but then tonight it stopped anyone else have this situation happen? Or had to fix it?

I have had this happen a couple times also. Luckily they were for the dealership and they took care of it. Now I am very careful with the amount of water I use. I put paper towels in the bottom to soak up water when squeegeeing. Then I use a hard card and paper towel to push the water out of the film to the side letting the paper towel soak up the water best as possible. Have not had a problem sense. I do a decent amount of them 

if that worked for you, one should be good using a water wick then?

 Did it ever work earlier then stop working again before the end of week?

I use a soak rope now. 2 Actually. One on each side of the bake light at the bottom. Did a 2020 e-class this morning.
