Has anyone used the Solyx Bird safety film yet ..... ?

Only thing I have used is the perforated white vinyl. Is that what it is?

No, it is a clear film with printed stripes on it, comes in a vertical and horizontal pattern and is installed on the outside.

 

For the pic I had white paper under the film so you could see the lines,

Pic wasn't easiest to see using my phone, reason why I asked. If coming from Solyx, I am sure they want a pretty penny for it.

Another option for the couple customers we get calls from a year complaining about birds pecking at their glass.

Not a bad price at all, cheaper then I could get a custom printed film.

They must be tweaking the UV since birds see in the UV range. The trick is to alternately reflect and absorb UV rays. Some professor at the Univ. of Penn holds a patent on the concept of this approach using a clear film. You couldn't tell it was there but, the birds sure did see it.

Nope, nothing to do with a UV pattern in the film.
