Anyone using the Premium Black 2 Ply Line from Solartint Window Films? How is it?

Here's the pros:

• Good Shrink

• Raphael is very helpful and pleasant to deal with

Cons:

• HAZY

It's a decent film, and most customers aren't going to tell a difference in quality from some of the big name company's.

 

BUT if you compare this film to others side by side, Solar Tint WF is clearly an inferior film.  I have my S10 wrapped in 5%.  For a test, I installed Express CB on the passenger window and Solar Tint WF on the driver.  Solar Tint film is hazy as all hell!  It's crazy to see the difference between the two side by side.  Compared to Solar Tint WF, the Express CB 5% has excellent clarity.  I'm able to see out the passenger and rear window extremely well considering its 5%.   You literally can't see s*** out the Solar Tint 5%, especially at night.  I'm legitimately worried about all the cars I installed 5% on.

 

The haziness is mostly noticed in the lower VLTs and like I said unless you compare side by side it's sort of unnoticeable to the untrained eye, but the 5% sucks for clarity.  Keep that in mind.  Their 50% film is great, but once you get lower than that it gets very hazy.

 

Just my .02 cents.

 

If you dont like the look or the "haziness"  of our premium which by the way, i havent anyone complain about it, if you want to try us again we can sell you our Dyed/Ceramic film which is far more clearer, easier film to install. Our premium line is the #1 seller worldwide and never once have i had someone tell me its hazy    . Im not sure what film type the Express CB is but im thinking its not a fair comparison, maybe compare our film line to they're true gray? Appreciate the comments im always down to hearing feedback from customers good or bad, if you want to try a sample of our dyed ceramic please give me a shout. 510-441-8468 Raphael
