Will this go away over time?

Run your finger over it. It'll probably lay down. Check again in a few days. Sometimes it will if it hasn't been to long.

I thought about doing that but didn't want to risk messing something up.  I went ahead and did it and it looks a lot better.  Not perfect, but I can live with it if it stays as is.

Thanks.  :thumb

Yeah, just gently run your finger along it to lay it down.  If pops back up, you can take it back to the shop and they can heat it up and press it out.

So even if it does pop back up it can be fixed without much difficulty.  Good to know. Thanks.

I couldn't fix the crescent tonight as the sharp angle of the glass towards the bottom, the low light level, and condensation on the glass made it pretty difficult to see what I was doing.

I'll give it another shot tomorrow morning.
