loyalty/discount program for dealership..thoughts???

I am starting to tint boats at a dealership.. I have 0% off on the first 5 boats then 8% on boats 6-10. then boats 11-15 10% off then 16-20 boats i give 12%.. then 15% for all boats after that.. that is the deepest discount I will give because I still have to maintain profitability.

 

What do you guys think?

I would not even bring up discounts with them, it will bite you in the ars. Focus on quality of your work.

Boat are known to be a pain, not many tinters wanting or willing to do them. With that said, boat dealer that wants them tinted are going to have a tough time finding a tinter.

What part of MI are you? I have a friend in Grand Rapids that's been bugging me to do his boat.

I live in/near Grand Rapids as well.  Do you know of anyone or do you have a plotter?  I have always cut out windows by hand but I wouldn't mind getting into a plotter and maybe vinyl, etc..

At dealerships where we don't have a exclusive we give all the salesmen cards with our name and their name. Customer gets a "special" price when they bring the card and after seven cars the salesman gets a free tint job equal to the average price. Works great for us
