Go down to your nearest boat shop and buy some rope that is good at absorbing water. Get different thicknesses at or above 6-feet long. Use them to tuck into the bottom of the windshield with ends curving out for easy removal when done.

Everyone should have a good stock of SmartieRope. :yep:thumb

 

Ha! Don't forget Teflon-coated tape for the squeegee blade, it allows the use of next to no water on the film while pushing out the moisture beneath the film (that is if the scratch coat on the film used can take it).

what was the result, I have one in my shop that's dead now. Second time this has happened on a Durango, first one dried out and was fine. This one seems to be the opposite of that scenario
