Screw redoing it. You need to tell him that every manufacture of film numbers there film a little differently. Someone else?s 20% may not be the same as yours. Also, every lot of film isn't going to be the same from roll to roll. so form one roll to the next you may get a little darker or lighter film. That's the way it goes. Just reassure him that it is 20%. Take a peace of 20% off the roll and hold it up next to the open door with the tint on it. Then if all that doesn't work tell him to F*ck off!

Prove it to the shiot head that it was 20% by letting him/her see it coming off of the roll, and meter the shizznet in front of him/her. :boogabutt

or just politely explain that ALL FRIGGIN FRONT WINDOWS look lighter due to the increased light exposure caused by the windshield.

meter it on the glass and if thats not gonna get it throw a black garbage bag over the windshield and let him then view the tint from the side of the car in the sun.

no matter how slow it becomes I dont do 20% on fronts anymore but the guys are right...show him the label on the inside of your roll and then show him your swatch booklet and explain the different variations in shades by different manufactures.
