Express window film issue please read

Recommended Posts

Alright guy. So I ordered a roll of express classic black film awhile back, and today I went to tint a truck for a friend of mine, and I came across issues.. I like always measure my tint and pull it out and cut it, but after I payed it on the glass I noticed a like wrinkle , or kink, what ever you wanna call it. So I put that sheet away and pulled out another and sure enough in a different spot there was another, so cut it out, and got it on the glass and good, but then I looked at the roll there was another.. And i don't know why it there. I never really handle the film rough, so there's no way to my knowledge that I have cause this. Please tell me what you think.. I'm going to call express films tomorrow and try to resolve this, because I have over 10 feet of visible tint that is like this.

JoeTint ... It happens! Great thing is you bought from a guy that runs a top shelf distrubition operation and they ship out of California so should get it quick. Does cause problems when it's your only roll huh! Pretty sure they will do you right :twocents

Cheers

I have known Howard for the better part of 25 years. One thing I can tell you about him is that if you ever have a problem with his materials, he will make it right. Give them a call. Their customer service is exemplary.

Did the roll telescope out or anything when you were handling it? That'll cause a crease to appear in the same spot in every layer if it was pinched right. I watch newer tinters not hold the roll tight and it starts to slide out on them. Ooor it could just be a manufacturer defect.

They will cover the 10ft. of the defective part of film for sure. Either reimburse you for the defective portion or just get you to send the roll back in return for a completely new roll, whichever option you prefer. Done and done.
