let's test everyone's ability to eyeball a piece of heatshrunk film and tell whether or not it is ready for install, without having to wet check first

I did a wet check, and took a picture of the result just for this test. and I will post the pic tonight.

once you've been doing it long enough, you can tell just by looking at it.

don't ask what type of car it is. :jerkit this isn't a test to see if you can remember how to handle a certain back glass.

the pic is in the next post.

By looking I'd say no. I had a short lived career as a powder shrinker myself and if I had horizontal lines across the film like that I'd most assuradely muck it up and crease it badly squeegeeing it out on the install.

everything you said was fine, except that last part. you worded it perfectly, TOO perfectly. somebody might get a hint as to what type of car it was, and that would would help determine their answer.
