I did one and pretty sure I cut it out. I hated it but I'm sorry if I've got to pull half the headliner down and then try and get a socket to it, it ain't happening.

I did the wedges at first, but after half a roll of paper towels and a million squeegees, the black rubber part was spitting dirt and grime. It almost seemed like someone had used goo gone on the rubber, it was super soft an if you swiped your finger on it itd rub off on your finger

After messing up my neck a few times trying to wrap my arm around to unbolt the light and see at the same time, I started doing this. Some of em seem like the rubber doesn't sit tight on the glass after putting it back.

What gets me is that Chevy couldn't figure out how to snap clip these lights in? Like really? You just had to put 10 mm bolts in there hey!? Idiots!

What kills me about them is that the engineer that designed this :poop saw the need to have it snap into place and be almost impossible to remove even after you get the 10's out! :nuts

And not regular thread, fine machine thread takes forever. pulled a few then started cutting around. Called a Skew driver, right angle attachment for cordless drills. regular bits and sockets with adapter was a must have for the 12 volters. If I can find another, will start pulling again. I used to carry my 10.8 volt makita's and stopped years back. Now with new vehicles requiring more disassembly reconsidering adding it back into my tool box. Yes 10.8 volt tiny little drill and impact goes where the big ones don't.
