Double Dry shrink??

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post on this thread earlier but in my experience you can have too much dryer sheet goo. The result is similar to that of shrinking with wax. The film will not want to stay put when you glove or card it down.

I've tried and experimented with just about every dry method there is and with varying degrees of each method. Alot of powder- a little powder, a little dryer sheet residue-alot of residue. Yes I have even tried lifting an edge and adding more dryer sheet residue as well. I've tried applying the dryer sheet residue with rubbing alchohol - not good.

Keep experimenting. You never know if you just might stumble across the next big thing in tinting.

Good observation. I may just have to give the cool down method a try.

Metint described in exact detail how I dry shrink most back glasses. Didn't realize that there was a science to it but based on your experience and his explaination it seems to make perfect sense.
