Talked to this company at sema. Does anyone have any info on them. THey said they are launching in January .http://www.flexishieldusa.com/

They are located in Phoenix AZ, manufacturing window film in the past. Now have their own PPF. Checked their sample, looks good. Waiting for the testing sample, which they said it will be shipped out by the end of this Month.

Saw them at SEMA as well. Film looked ok, didn't put my hands on it to do a trial install though. I'm interested in the software aspect, who is going to be up near DAP level.

My thoughts exactly. The guy I talked to didn't know much of anything about the industry. I asked him about the software and explained that DAP is the bench mark. Seems that everyone else  wants to stay with patterns fitting "good enough".Sadly if a company is not boasting about it and promoting it as the best, and how they put so much time in to development it probably will just be same old same old.

I also talked to them at SEMA about pattern quality, they claimed their patterns are 'as good as DAP'. The guy I talked to said they do full-car patterns for EVERY car they have in their database.

Also, they do interior patterns, like for the center console and scratch-prone interior trim.

 

I cant vouch for or against them until I get the film and patterns in my hands to try, but I did like the pitch.

Did they show you the software and the database they have?

Not really, said it would be ready to launch for January.

They had a rough draft of the program at the show that they were using to cut patterns for the Panamera they had on display.

When looking at the Panamera in the booth it look similar to the way the DAP pattern wraps on the edge. Has that notch on the corner like DAP.

I like software that can offer full wraps around every wheel well, I like the overkill

 

almost every software company claims to have good and accurate patterns but its all just "good enough"
