Guest metint
Report in from Guam tells of defroster nightmare. Seems the 04 Toy Camry defroster lifted from the glass when cured film is removed (client unhappy with first install ). Happened on a redo of a Camry... thought it was once in a blue moon thing. Happened again... Another tinter reports the defrost on the 04 Solara lifted and slipped with the film when attempting to position the back glass film prior to squeegge down. That's three in as many weeks... These guys are no longer tinting back glasses in Guam until Toy Inc. remedies the situation. This may just be an overseas thing and not something affecting the US market... but it pays to be cautious.
Guest Blade
Another tinter reports the defrost on the 04 Solara lifted and slipped with the film when attempting to position the back glass film prior to squeegge down. That's scary. I've done 3 2004 Solaras in the last 2 weeks with no problems though. Hopefully those problems stay overseas. (No offense to you overseas guys )
