Llumar vs suntek

Recommended Posts

Are you getting peanuts on all vehicles or just the problematic ones like Chrysler 300?? Ive notice with suntek that if you smooth it out to quick on the top, you get peanuts in the corners.  Also, you really don't want more slip that needed or that can lead to them.

Completely different films with different adhesives...Llumar uses High Performance Resin (HPR) adhesive.  Llumar is easy to shrink, but is reverse on their roll compared to "normal" so there is some getting used to that.  When removing Llumar, ATC/ATR will leave all glue while CTX's glue generally comes off with the film.  As far as peanuts on newer Chargers/Challengers/etc, if not prepped right it will have peanuts just like all films.  We do not have issues with peanuts with Llumar or 3M because we have a system that works for us.

what's your system?
