I feel like im using an unnecessary  amount of j&j and its still wanting to tack down too early though, and im having lots of issues getting the sides to tuck in correctly without creasing it

You prob saw a video on YouTube saying all you need is a little squeeze right? I have seen installers with colored solution because they put a lot. Its really up to you bro. I use to put a shot glass of baby shampoo in a polyspray bottle. And I use to put the whole bottle of shampoo on my 5 gallon corny (10 polyspray bottles.) Just keep in mind that the more solution, the more you will have to squeegee. @flat rock stan gives discounts for tintdude members on his DVD set. I learned from him. This is all covered in his DVDs.

And I have used J&J for over 25 years now and see no issues with it. Just takes a bit of time to figure out the right amount to add to your sprayer to get the slip you want. :twocents

@one_slick_tinter That's a long track record with J&J.  Do you mind me asking what ratio you have found works best?

I dont think any of us measures it. We just squeeze the bottle til we think it's enough. Different measures in different climate as well. If it is 100 degrees out I put more, and if it is 20 degrees out I put less. You gotta find a happy medium on your own. Cuz what works for me might not work for you.

I usually do a 4-5 count pour into my PolySpray and it seems to work.  Just curious what J&J veterans do lol.  @Stewy A shot glass full for a PolySpray seems like wayyy to much for me, but to each their own.

Yup it was. But I don't use that much anymore. I cut it down to less than half.
