Window Film Cores Recycling!

Hey guys, new member here on the forums and wanted to see if we can start contributing to the earths environment by recycling our tint cores. I know it is much easier to throw them away, but seeing that I throw away over 20 cores per month, I would like to try to figure out a good place for them. Please help me out by DM'ing me if you are interested in recycling your cores.

 

Can anyone tell me if there are any manufacturers that credit your accounts for recycling your cores?

From what I have been told is they are not stamped with a recycle logo and number so they will not take them .I feel bad tossing them also.

I checked with Waste Management years ago, and they said the cores were recyclable even thought there is no stamping on them.

I always throw them in the recycling, where they go I don't know. Just as long as they ain't cluttering my shop I don't care.

Looks like something an architectural firm could use for rolled up drawings, or to mail or deliver them. They're probably gold to someone out there.

I'm definitely with you guys! I hoard them and let a recycling plant have them just so they don't end up in a landfill or I'll let customers have as many as they please. The large ones I'll try to let my distributor have them so he can reuse them.  FYI the plastic is Polystyrene if a plant ever asks.

We can use them for roll downs. Just need to figure out a way to get them from you to me!
