The Effect of Smoke on PPF Installations

Recommended Posts

Hello, I own a small PPF and vinyl installation center and I just wanted to know if there was any harm being done to my installations behind the wrappers smoking cigarettes inside the building.

Not sure if smoking has any effect or not but I'm just worried it would cause dust or damage the quality of the film or its installation since the wrappers smoke very close to the cars and I tend to feel/see smoke just sitting there, not very easy to get rid of. They enjoy their cigarettes very much and I wanted to understand if it's worth banning smoking inside the place. Thanks!

We have a no smoking at work rule in the UK any way but there would be no way I would let anyone working on cars in my custody anywhere near them if they were smoking. One damaged car/install is one too many as far as I am concerned.

It won't effect the material, but non smokers can smell like a blood hound, and will not be very happy if they detect a hint of cigarette smoke in their vehicle.
