2017 Gaskets easily removable. big windows, no snapping needed. of course heat shrink back window, HIGHLY RECOMMEND dry shrinking and being careful of the bottom corners. the back window is a sneaky lil bastard lol. Harder than it looks. SUPER EASY!!!!

  Just picked up dinner from Carrabba’s... it was raining this am... then got sunny and temps went in to the lower 70s... then a line of storms started rolling thru. I'm waiting at the restaurant and all the sudden everyone's phones go off with a tornado warning. That was weird... never had that happen before... guess its getting me ready for the apocalypse. Hailed for a bit.. with super heavy rain. I was just sitting there thinking - please don't let the power go out... please don't let the power go out. Springtime storms.....

  Wow, a lot has changed since 2018 and since this comment was posted, So the Long term truth is I have some folks still using the first sledgehammer they purchased.   IMO, 3M Ceramic IR is going to be the best option based on the performance and price. It outperforms CTX and the Autobahn Black Ceramic. Xpel XR Black matches the TSER on some shades but lower rated on others along with lower IR rating. Obviously, the shop quality is more important as these are all good films.

  As @Ryker said, it is all about trust. There is no way to know for sure what film you received and nothing you can buy that will be as accurate as the film manufacturers. The closest tool is the one below but why spend $1000? https://www.xpel.com/solar-spectrum-meter Xpel XR Plus is measured at a singular wavelength (1025nm), over the whole spectrum it is lower. Does that make it a bad film or one that does not block a good amount of heat, absolutely not.
