Aluminum rub on window?

I tinted a window twice today and I keep seeing these markings on the glass. Looks to me like some sort of aluminum residue from whoever removed the old tint. Is there a way to clean this off? Esp in the gasket where it’s so tight

After digging around I seen that ryker had suggested using mother mag and aluminum polish. Do I just keep rubbing at it with the polish till it’s gone?

Good question nothing you can do be clear with people no warranties if they mess with it first...be clear with them always..let me know if polish works???

I've tried a bunch of things over the years. What worked best for me was toothpaste and a pen eraser. (the white rough ones that don't really erase the ink but rubs the paper away.)

Maybe I’m not looking at the right thing...  what I’m seeing isn’t metal marks but scratches in the glass.

Yeah it does look more like a scratch than a metal rub.

they make a special compound just for polishing glass.  can not remember the name, call any glass shop and they can tell ya.   takes out small scratches and polish edges on cut glass for tables
