Using cleaning and a slip solution???

I'm not sure if there is a topic but to many post to scroll through. Ive been tinting for a couple of years now,  I use a cleaning solution and a slip solution.  I was just curious do you use a cleaning and a slip or just one for both ?

I use fusion all type slip solution and usually just wipe the windows once I make the final pass. Sometimes I may need to mist it first but it works. Beats the bell out of buying a bunch of cans of cleaner as well.

Sprayway first for me. Then squeegee with slip.

Cool, Thanks for the reply. You guys use sprayway to prep then a slip to mount. I use a glass cleaning solution that's used by window cleaners and use Flex Film mounting solution. Just curious I wanted to get some feed back. I tried tint slime I had from a few years back and I didn't like it.

I scrub and scrape with sprayway then squegge clean with my slip which is j&j.

I clean with 409 on rear glass and a good squirt of Dawn 4X in a spraymaster for sides, i was using Joy non Ultra for slip for a long time but am switching over to Fusion All Type when all my Joy runs out. So yes, 2 bottle system, one clean and one slip.

JJ clean and install. Alcohol and water to wipe off exterior glass

I use sprayway to clean also.   I believe I get cleaner results than when I just used slip to clean.

So I’m stuck in my old ways, (still use joy for both), but I’ve been trying newer techniques and products lately. There is always improvement that you can make. So, two part question: y’all are talking about that foaming glass cleaner in the aerosol can, right?

2) I pretty much blade everything possible, so would it really improve how clean the window is? Outside of older cars, I get that it would help there.
