Professional window tinter / tint shop manager needed ASAP for a highly successful car wash and detailing center that has methodically expanded into tint.

We have owned and operated this location for 3 years, which existed for +10 years prior to our ownership.

This business is a permanent fixture in the community, and is growing as part of a thriving northern Virginia economy.

Demand for tint has steadily increased over the past year, and is now beyond our capabilities.

This is permanent full time employment.

We are a 3M shop.

  Just picked up dinner from Carrabba’s... it was raining this am... then got sunny and temps went in to the lower 70s... then a line of storms started rolling thru. I'm waiting at the restaurant and all the sudden everyone's phones go off with a tornado warning. That was weird... never had that happen before... guess its getting me ready for the apocalypse. Hailed for a bit.. with super heavy rain. I was just sitting there thinking - please don't let the power go out... please don't let the power go out. Springtime storms.....

  Wow, a lot has changed since 2018 and since this comment was posted, So the Long term truth is I have some folks still using the first sledgehammer they purchased. We still make them with the same material, The Dura-Tek blend has become the Over Achiever we have 7 different durometers in 5" and 8" inch blades along with 4 different channel blades in 3mmx19mm . https://www.gasketprotools.com/blades

  IMO, 3M Ceramic IR is going to be the best option based on the performance and price. It outperforms CTX and the Autobahn Black Ceramic. Xpel XR Black matches the TSER on some shades but lower rated on others along with lower IR rating. Obviously, the shop quality is more important as these are all good films.

  Auto window tint claims/performance question
  
  As @Ryker said, it is all about trust. There is no way to know for sure what film you received and nothing you can buy that will be as accurate as the film manufacturers. The closest tool is the one below but why spend $1000? https://www.xpel.com/solar-spectrum-meter Xpel XR Plus is measured at a singular wavelength (1025nm), over the whole spectrum it is lower. Does that make it a bad film or one that does not block a good amount of heat, absolutely not.
