How do you cool your shop in the summer?

Been working in the heat all my life....I just do it faster when it get hotter...

Today I told my ac man to get started as soon as possible. Going with a central unit as opposed to the mini splits that I wanted. Hopefully tomorrow will be my last day working in my shop when it’s 15 degrees hotter than outside.

your shop is a little smaller than mine but a little higher ceilings-3 ton mini split unit would take care of you fine.  can buy it for $2000 and install yourself

 

i have a 2 ton in a 32x32 building-well insulated-cold as hell on a 90 degree day

Tried that the other day in between windows. Didn't work nearly as well as I had hoped it would.

Or just turn the a/c in the car on whilie you tint it.

I bought 2 AC unit at homedepot and put it on a roller. We had the AC units on the roll up garage doors and covered the sides. We dont have to do that anymore cuz we have ac now. But it worked at the old shop.

Got my first light bill that was 17 days 110 dollars on average it was 75 in there with a fan blowing in the bay and waiting area which I feel was pretty comfortable.
