Is there different beveled edges when shaving side windows?

Recommended Posts

For all you guys who shave side windows I was practicing today is there any tips on different beveled edges??? And is it better to heat the edge up or to wet shave? It seems like it always came out better when I shaved it once even and then went back and shaved again with olfa knife

I use the bevel on the glass to determine where and what angle I would file the edge at.  I only go with an up motion to ensure a clean shear.  I stick the film and let it dry before attempting to file it.

Exactly. Within 10-15 min while doing the rest, adhesive sets up and go back to the first installed window and shave up up and away.
