Asking for professional and personal opinions/suggestions

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've been doing a lot of contacting around my area here in Alabama to find a good tint shop. I've found a few and received information on the brands they use to tint.
So far the best options I have found while reading this forum and searching google are three shops that offer Global, Huper Optik, and Llumar(stratos) respectively.

My car is a new 2018 Honda Civic EX-L 4dr sedan. I am looking to put 50% ceramic tint on all sides and rear.

Each shop is an hour+ drive away and have very positive reviews.

Right now I am for the Global tint shop, It's Bham with his The TiNT STOP.

Well on to what I wanted to ask. I would like opinions on these three Ceramic films. What do you think of them, would you personally pick which one for your own cars,  why, etc.

I've been reading through the forums and doing what google searches I can, but that information can fall short of what others can share of their own experience with these tints and any issues or concerns I should have or look out for.

Oh and this will be my first ever tint purchase.

While I have zero experience with Global films, I hear a lot of guys like it. Huper and Llumar are both great products. I deal with a lot of customers that get a little to hung up on the specs of the film. Personally, I think the installer is the most important thing to consider here. I don’t know any of these guys personally, but Bham has obviously been doing this a long time and provide you with a quality install.

Thanks, yea I agree Bham will do a great job, I've read a lot of his posts on here. He also answered my questions. A quality installer is probably the most deciding factor from what I have read and searched up. I'm just a little anal when it comes to finding out the most I can about any product I buy.

Steer clear of that huper guy there. I've worked with another shop there and have personally stripped his film for haziness and poor installation. Bham is a solid dude with great film and installation. You won't have a minutes trouble out of global no matter the line you choose, but I personally have ceramic on all of my vehicles including 80% on the windshield. It is a little more expensive but well worth it imo.
