Consider yourself very fortunate, superdave. Most of us had to figure it out on our own.     Your dad sounds like he had or has a top notch bunch of guys.

Those guys were the best collective group of talent I’ve ever been around. I still keep in touch with several of them and still kinda feel like a trainee around them. Back then everyone in the shop worked as a team,  and there were 7 of them at the flagship store. Cars would come in and out at a furious pace-sometimes before the customers could pay the bill. There were even 3 ladies that that just drove cars back and forth to dealerships all day. Kinda sad I’ve never seen anything like it since. But, yes, I am fortunate to have seen all that, and learn from them.
