What width tint should i get when tinting back windows on common cars.

36 covers mostly everything and 40 will finish up anything you're going to do as a beginner.

A 30" will do most back windows, but, as JH said a 36" usually is what you want especially if you are using a plotter and can then cut the whole car out with same roll.

As a beginner I did 40" to cover all my bases (rears) which works fine and split it into 20" for most sides. As we have been able to increase our inventory I added 20" in the more popular shades to do most side windows.

 

Now we have been able to increase our inventory for almost everything: 

 

40" and 36" to cover big rear windows

 

30" for most back windows
20" for sides and 24" for trucks and some back windows

 

and I have some small rolls for strips 10" & 12" I believe in  2 shades only 5% & 20%

36 inch or 40 to be safe...40 inch can be cut in half for side windows......

Most offer 60” rolls which is a better value because you can have it cut 38/22 but if they don’t offer a 60 then a 36 will cover 98% of the cars you will encounter

We stock 36" for all darker shades and 40" for all lighter windshield shades.  Since Llumar AIR doesn't come in a 40", I stock a 60" roll.
