New Ford Explorer back door wings

Recommended Posts

Did an 18 the other day. This what i did. Lay 2 pieces of film up on 1/4 and trimmed along both sides (vertical side and curved side) except the bottom edge and part of the rounded bottom corner.  Then I dry installed and trimmed the rest from the inside. The curved side will overlap by a 1/8” or so making it easy to trim on the inside.

I hear you...I use the blue little foot hard cards and jam those up in the back corners of the previous model year camrys..Leave it for an hour and film slides right in. Makes sense. Thanks for that tip.

To make it quicker, maybe after jammng the tool in, hit it lightly with the heat gun to soften the rubber a little then it'll cool quick in the jammed position

Just saw you're down South, it's 16 degrees here so the heat gun may not make a difference if it's warmer
