Wet sanding black borders

Having trouble laying down the BG on a challenger with the dot matrix also around the rear quarters. Getting that line in between  Is it normal to wet sand with 320 to relax the edge to get it to lay down. Thanks for the help.

You wont see some or all if the line at first because water is floating there. As it drys, the matrix line will be visible. You dont need sand paper on that one. I only use 1500 and 2000 grit for extremely thick defroster lines.

Just did an 07’ Bmw 3 coupe for the front side windows. Film laid down good. I used 600 grit wet sandpaper. A few passes was all it took. Might look into doing it for the dot matrix

Thank you im going to try it out. Its my car so I wont complain if I mess it up.
