Guest LoneStar Report post Posted October 25, 2019 Today was the first 2019 Chevy truck that I've done and I found the bottom gasket to be very tight. Anybody else have this issue or had a good work around Quote Share this post Link to post
ErieTint 118 Report post Posted October 26, 2019 I am a bottom loader so I normally either pop tops or remove panels so I can remove bottom sweeps. That being said, these bottoms didn't seem overly tight if I were to top load them. Have only done fronts on the new body style, cannot comment on rears. 1 TintDude reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
highplains 1,340 Report post Posted October 26, 2019 Fronts pull the panels and remove the sweep. Rears you can pop the top and remove the sweep. It makes life a hell of a lot easier on these trucks. In the makes and models section there's a write up with pictures. 1 TintDude reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
CnCCustoms 148 Report post Posted October 28, 2019 We snatch the panels on em. The time it takes to fight with those tight sweeps is time spent removing and reinstalling the panel. And much cleaner job without the headache Quote Share this post Link to post
