kepatel12
Hey everyone, I recently had my 2019 Audi S5 tinted and noticed that on both the front windows, in the corner closest to the side mirror, there's a gap and the tint wasn't cut/tucked in all the way under the seal. Is this a common problem when tinting these cars? Is it worth having redone? It is also worth nothing that the car has frameless doors. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Link to comment
DynamicATL
It needs to be redone, no reason for a gap. Link to comment
civicrice
it might have been something the installer thought was no big deal. since there isn't a light gap. haven't it redone shouldn't be a big deal for them. Link to comment
smookee408@yahoo.com
That needs to be redone. Your S5 also needs felt installed to prevent scratches. From my POV it dosnt look like it was installed. Link to comment

bpbv6-6
not jacking thread but i've been getting micro bubbles in some of my jobs lately. I use a blue max. What is a more effective squeegee to use to remove maximum water? Link to comment

I use the thick felt cards for shrinking windows as well. Never used felt before for sweeps so I dont know what you mean by that so I want to learn. Thanks! Link to comment
smookee408@yahoo.com
Car manufacturers will cut corners and reduce cost. Most vehicles have factory felt installed. Alot of luxury Vehicle do not. Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes. Some of the more common cars are Accord 03-07 Acura TSX pre 2010. On those Vehicles felt installation is already included in quote. Link to comment
