SCOT-TINT
We use suntek carbon range and have done for a long time. We tinted a new VW Polo and the customer was is getting a bad reflection coming from heating lines and no other customer has ever came back to us with this issue. Is there a reason or solution for this? Tia Link to comment
Booms
The reason is called light refraction. The tint bends around the defroster lines causing a distortion that the light *refracts* off of due to the uneven surface. No, you can't do anything about it. You're welcome. jconnors, florida tinter and no ma'am 2 1 Link to comment
drtint
Thank VW for putting their defroster lines so close together on your particular model, the pitch and angle of the rear glass will cause that when a film is applied. Cheers Link to comment
