Yes, some cars have super tight frames that tend to pinch the film  in the corner and make it buckle over time, your tinter probably did this to keep that from happening. Don't sweat it. :)

Could be a really tight corner but I doubt that it needs that much off.

 

I did have a truck for that I tinted 5 times because the tint kept pinching. Normal Ford I think that I've tinted thousands and not had issue.  I heated it and pressed really heavy.  Never did see it back but fully expected I would.

I think I can pretty much guarantee that no one who sees that will think anything, unless they are tinters. :lol 

 

I look at windows all the time for stuff... but the average person - they won't, and couldn't care any less... probably.
