good morning all...

Tintpioneer here,,,also previously known as AREYOUTHETINTGUY

I've been tinting since 1982,,,went a completely different route 10 years ago and due to covid I was let go from my job,,,so I have decided to go back to window film

I realize there have been major changes in the industry,,,,

any tips on anything I should be aware of?  types of film ?  from my quick checking it seems like the rear windows on most cars have become somewhat easier for install,,,,

I believe the biggest change I should be aware of is the addition of electronic hidden everywhere ( back in the day we only worried about the rear deck on a BMW lol)

Defroster quality has tanked! Watch out for fuyao labeled windows. Disclaimer on everything, not my problem car manny’s can’t get or make decent glass. Laminated doors are extremely popular, Tesla and Germany suck equally. When in doubt post up. Welcome back!

Don’t be a lazy tinter, I’ve seen too many of them in my search for window tint but I suppose that comes with being a “window tinter” for a living

Hey, I hope you are able to get your car tinted to your liking.

I am going to ask you to move on now though. Not sure why you would want to be posting around people you disdain anyway.

Don’t dust off the tool pouch if you have one. Just trash it like I did. Best tool improvement yet.

I actually started my career in 82 and what I can say, most are much easier these day.
