mark on new ppf install on headlight

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone, new to this site and also new to installing Paint protection. There is a weird mark that i am not sure what it is underneath the paint protection film. The piece was difficult to install so do not want to redo unless i have to. I used a small amount of xpel gel, slip solution and diluted alcohol. Was curious if someone new what this was.

Before starting from scratch however, just use really hot water to soften the film from the yellow part of the light to the corner and lift the film back up there.  Spray a mix of alcohol & water to 'relax' the adhesive and give it maybe 1 or 2 minutes then squeegee it back down again.  Probably get a line where you pull it up to, but you might get rid of the bubbles. worth checking anyway...
