Pump up sprayers

I recently switched to pump up sprayers from the normal spray bottles but heard that they spray some plastic deposits as they age. Question for the pump up sprayer people. How often do you change out the sprayers to avoid contamination issues? I would hate to ruin a piece of expensive ceramic film.

I've been using mine for years and have never had an issue with them spraying plastic deposits. They do get some soap build up that will occasionally let loose and ruin your day if you don't clean them well enough frequently. I rinse mine every time and then once a week or so I hit them with higher pressure from the hose and a sprayer to break up the soap scum. Haven't had an issue since.
