Cutting strip?

Hi guys, just got my plotter going new fc8600 54”.

I have a new blade, set the speed at 20 and force at 13.

it wasn’t cutting consistency, so I replaced the cutting strip with a new one and it’s still doing the same thing. Some areas it cuts good the other areas it cuts through the film. Any tips would help, Thank you!

Did you ever figure out what the issue was specifically?

 

I have one of our plotter doing something very similar... On the same cut, in some areas it cuts fine, but on others it's just a little too shallow or if I to the pressure just by one, it might cut through the backing.

 

Any info/insight you might be able to provide would be appreciated.
