Best ceramic film
First off, I'd stay away from heavy equipment (too dirty) and newer model tractors. They have a lot of curve along with handles, shocks etc to remove if you want a nice finish. I'd stick with cars and flatwork, especially since you are new to the film industry. I use Suntek. For the price, looks and being user friendly, you can't go wrong. BTW, I've been installing since 1989. Take it from an old-timer. -

TCT Flex is a minnow in a tank of sharks; a small player in industry. Be smart about your decision in the sense that there are very few that offer drastic discounts as bait. See what other players have in terms of film supply that would fit your needs; suppliers like, SolarFX, Express, Johnson, any film from Garware (ex. Global). Good luck.- windowtint

Unknown Marks On Windows
It looks like there's a scattering of tiny air trails that occur when the tinter was installing the film. It happens during the installation process of pushing the slip solution out by squeegee. If the liner gets peeled and the adhesive is not sufficiently saturated before applying to the glass surface, any dry area on the adhesive will grab the glass. As the installer squeegees the slip solution out, the solution in front of the squeegee blade carries small amounts of air which can easily be forced into the adhesive structure at the dry spot; trapping microscopic air pockets in a streaked fashion. Redo is the only way to know for sure. Air scattering can also occur when finding an air bubble after one thinks they are done with the window and an attempt to push the air out only splinters it into streaks in the adhesive because the adhesive has tacked. -

New Shop Setup (Supplies & Plotter)
In the process of ordering our first shipment of Tint inventory and also a Cutting machine since vynal will be up coming in the near future. I have been looking at a few machines, pretty much got it dialed down to a Graphtec FC9000, Work Horse 2 64” , and the Titan 3. The Titan 3 caught my attention very quick on Flexfilmstore.com website where they have it setup when you spend $5,000 in store supplies you can get 60% off the Plotter (Titan 3). Would work out perfectly if I could go ahead and Stock up on and film and save major on the cutting machine. All good right? Now comes my issue with the film, iv looked up reviews on the tint films offered from the Flexfilmstore.com site. And not to many good things I’m finding out. I wanted to see is anyone had at least 1 of their films be decent OR know of any other company offering deal packages like that. Any info would be great. Thanks- windowtint
