Looking for some career advice
That is good advice if you're dealing with respectable owners. If not, then leverage is the only way to pry your worth out of their pockets. A top notch installer can command up to 40% on a w9 in most markets and often more on wholesale/fleet work. 35% is average for retail and maybe 30% if you have a base minimum guarantee of say 400wk. I would personally begin preparing to open independently. Buy your own film and start laying it every minute you're not scheduled. When you build enough workflow go find a good space and put your name on the door. Problem permanently solved. I always say there is no such thing as "side money" or "jobs". Making money is my job and I get all that I'm able to daily. -

@Roach and @Bham are proof that sometimes you win, or as I often say...you can't loose 'em all, even if you try! -

Need help with wrinkles/creases
You would need to see it done properly. Maybe find a CK vid of him wrapping a mustang fender or something of similar shape to witness how to glass it and where to start laying it down. He does some good bumper and inlay work as well. -

Was out this afternoon.... came to a 4 way stop intersection.... just on back roads, 25 mph... I stopped and I heard this loud thunk and it started to making this noise. i tried switching gears... nothing. put it in park and all kinds of grinding. Figured it was the transmission. Called AAA - oh, I was in the hood at the time Was talking with the tow truck driver.. he said it sounded more like the axel. Low and behold, thats what it was. And, my mechanic was able to fix it this afternoon... so impact was minimal. Auto stuff never goes my way..... I'm super excited this time, for once, it did. 'evening all..... -

Have you checked the ground wire to make sure it's connected properly and has a good ground? That's what they always asked me. -

Exactly. This is really complicated by their non functional website. Started with trying to fix my email after they changed the way their email thing works. Finally got a reply from tech support that was as if they didn't even read what I said. Tried to clarify and no response at all. Fine. I'm going with another company. Now a whole new set of problems come. -

This sound like me going to deep into an automotive repair. I'm shade tree at best and usually don't know if it's right until it doesn't blow up or catch fire.
