Hello,

I got my car windows tinted in Las Vegas. Wonderful! :thumb But unfortunately to comply with MOSTLY Idaho law I could only get a dark strip on the top of my front glass window. :thumb I heard some where out there that there is effective clear tint. Is it true....or is bogus. :hmmm

I want UV protection, and to keep the heat out!!! (Without the Idaho cops doing the scientific business card behind the windshield trick).

Tell me more (availability, price, brand, effectiveness)

Unless you are able to obtain a medical waiver, tinting the entire windshield is illegal in all 50 States. The windshield of all automobiles on the road today have laminated glass, which its PVB (Polyvinyl buteral) laminant already has the capacity to absorb 99% of UV (in the UVA wavelength range). Glass screens the UVB wavelength range, the atmosphere's ozone screens UVC.
