Having Toyota say the tint on te rear window is may be causing AM radio reception problems. Camry has in glass rear antenna. Using no metal tint, can't see how this could be affecting radio reception?

metalized films an degrade the AM signal. there are ALOT of cars these days that this happens to. if you want to avoid the problem put some DYDE film that has NO metal in it or splurge and ger HUPER OPTIK film its creamic instead of metal and will not interfere with the signal but it cost mucho bucks.

if your DEAD set on listening to am radio you better get a basic DYDE film with NO metal in it. the dyde film is not going to keep out as much heat as the high performance metalized films will but if you want AM reception to not be affected you better NOT get a metalized tint put on. :thumb
