you can allways use a button and drag it around as you cut, it will keep the blade from touching the glass then it won't matter what kind of blades you use!

use stainless blades, you don't need to push very hard if you have a sharp blade, don't cut at to steep of angle, and have your blade extended 3-4 clicks

I cut a small flat square of plastic off of the core end holders and use them. I haven't scratched a window in 15 years

ive noticed that I see scratches after im done tinting a window, I think they are already there and the black tint just makes them show! I see a few scratches in places that I dont even cut so I hope its not me scratching it!

After you make sure you are using the right type of blade, try changing the angle your holding your blade at. That has alot to do with it, hold your blade more perpendicular to the glass, it needs to glide across it, not dig into it.
