87 vette

I got a 87 vette coming in thursday and any tip would greatly be appreciated. I thought about a two piece and maybe a 3 piece any opinions. Also which way should I try to run the film, with the defrost lines running up and down would it be easier to shrink the film that way or the normal way. Probably the lamest idea you all have heard of, but please dont laugh too hard, my only ignorance is if I dont ask the pros

Do it in 3 with one big piece in the middle, and then seem it at the first defroster line on each side
