Need Deco Circles...No Plotter...No Problem

I was in Joanne Fabrics the other day buying some new heavy duty scissors (40% coupon in hand) and I noticed this Olfa tool and decided to buy it along with some suction cups to see if it would be an easy way to cut circles in white frost. Tried it out and it worked very well and was very precise. I just wet tacked the finish product on my kitchen window to show the results. Unfortunately it only cuts a 10" max circle. Should be able to cut circles out of already installed film as well for more design options. Took a whole minute to cut it out. Beats a plotter if ur cheap like me....

I wonder how well that rotary cutter blade will hold up. I also wonder if it would mark glass if you were to install the film then cut out what you needed to.

I have 2 of those olfa circle cutters still in the box, but this is one of the better ideas for them! Good idea CE

The replacement circular rotary blades are fairly cheap. They seem to hold up pretty well if you use one of those cutting mats underneath. BTW, Joanne Fabrics has a 36" x 60" cutting mat with measuring grid for $39.99. Normally sells for $70.

I have a triangle that has different circles in it that I use to cut out "buttons"
