Except for radically curved windows, I don't shrink any side windows. Fingers on the bottom are 95% a product of the way you squeegee the window.

Yeah, no. How about you go to work for someone and actually learn how to tint cars. You would be out of business in a week. Just because we make it look easy, doesn't mean it is.

How long have you been tinting?

If that one little dot is all there is to complain about, then I would say you got an excellent tint job. Oh, and kudos to the shop for getting $475.00 for a tint job. It's nice to see shops and tinters finally getting paid what they are worth.

^ This.. There should be no wasted movement, which is one of the things that comes with repetition and experience. And just because you're fast, it doesn't mean you are putting out substandard work. I don't try to be fast. It's just years of doing the same thing over and over ( and over)...

I'm 54 and can tint a new Camry or Corolla in under an hour. It's not about being fast, it's about knowing what to do next without even thinking about it. With (lots) of repetition, comes seamless motion, and that is what makes you fast.
