  1. So where is your shop, what state? My brother is in Michigan and owns my old shop and he is a Rayno dealer and has been selling Rayno for just as long as we have but with no warranty claims, not a single. That just shows that a film that is sub par in central US will last 10 years in northern states but not last 2 years in south Florida. I have customers that come in to get a scratched window replaced on cars that I tinted 14-16 years ago with SolarGard HP supreme, which is a mid grade film in their lineup, and the entire car looks like I tinted it last year. RAYNO glue is junk and their warranty pay out is terrible.
  2. I've been tinting daily as a job for just coming on 35 years. Our shops have been in business since 1970. Oldest tint shop in Florida, maybe in the country, not sure. We are dealer for Solargard, Panorama as well, Huper Optik, Rayno, Solyx to list the mains. We also do a lot of installs for other vendors which would include 3M films. I've installed and sold through my personal shop up north Sun-Gard. We have been a Rayno dealer for 5+ years. We carried MonoCarbon, S5, S7, S9 and Platinum. When we took it on, we called other dealers to get input, good and bad. You got to keep in mind we are in Southwest Florida so temperatures and humidity are very high which puts any film to the extreme of tests of its limits. The Rayno films started out as a great film to install meaning it is a heavy duty film and the adhesive was easy to work with. In the last couple years the adhesive got to the point where it was impossible to work with. Meaning that no matter what slip solution you used or how much of it you used I even tried doubling and tripling the amount of it to get the film to slide and make it easier to get back into seals and nothing worked. Recently we started having cars come in that we literally tinted not even 14 months ago that the film went completely rippled with adhesive failure. I just want to put this out there for anybody that's looking to become a Rayno film dealer, to look at all your options and I mean all your options and stay away from Rayno window films. You can't find a worse film that has a false reputation of being a high end film like Rayno. There are warranty payout for replacements is absolutely terrible. We stopped carrying the S7 line of film almost a year ago so when I had a couple cars come in to be warranted they sent me out the film to put on it and the film that they sent me was older lot numbers then the film that was on the car. Just take my word and also call other Rayno dealers....you will hear these same issues across the board.
  3. Quantum doesn't match that good. We sold and installed quantum for 20 years. it doesn't match the rear of the old RXs. SolarGard Stainless Steel SS35 matches the best
