  1. Roach , that's what I told the woman who owns the business. I just help her with res/com installs. I told her to maybe sub it out. I don't want any part of that nightmare.
  2. **** Thanks Tom , I don't have a FH , I use a homemade slitter I made, but would never work for this. Heck I think even a FH would struggle with 14 mil. I think I'm going to pass on taking on this job, sounds too much like a nightmare.
  3. I haven't posted on here in eons, howdy boys. Anybody remember me ? Anyway , my question is about installing 14 or 15 mil security film. Not sure which one , but either one sounds like a nightmare. I've been tinting for 20 yrs , mostly just on the side for other companies. Never installed this mudflap stuff, I'm used to 7/8 mil. - lol , Wow is it thick. Seems nearly impossible to try and trim any edges. Depending on which film co. you go with , I hear they precut the film? Then I know it needs caulked around the perimeter. Probably the 995 ? What kinds of tools are needed? I really don't want anything to do with this job . Appreciate any help. - Thanks , hope all is well my tinter dudes.
