  1. Did this Tesla 3 in CTX 35 with an Air 80 on the windshield. Nope! I did NOT do the back glass as the customer didnt want it tinted more than it was. Front windshield was not fun.
  2. I may have to try that someday. If I ever get to eat bread and spaghetti again that is. 😔
  3. I have one coming in Tuesday. Fortunately he only wants the sides and windshield done in CTX. He did all the research and found posts on problems with the rear glass when they are tinted.
  4. You must be my brotherstwin. He always burn his bread too. 😂 Is that spaghetti???
  5. I didn’t do this one today as I do not work weekends but I did do this one this week and wanted to share. A 1984 Olds Delta 88. Piece of cake! ATC 15%
  6. You guys have waaaaaay too much fun when I’m not around. 😬
  7. I charge more for those little quarter windows 20 to 40 bucks more. Some are easy and and some are boogers!
  8. Super nice!! Hope you have planned on plenty of AC so you can really enjoy the new work atmosphere. Nice smart looking place!!
  9. I quit using the scrubbies to clean the windows and only razor the sides. I use micro fiber towels that I wash weekly on three hour cycle and are color coded for their uses. Orange for dirty work and green is clean, final pass before tinting and I use a fresh set or two on eash car. The orange ones I clean the gaskets with and the top edge of the glass. I do my final clean pass with my unger pro squeegee and whipe with the green one before install. You may need to also disassemble your unger squeegee and clean it good. Make sure it has a good blade in it and always keep extra inserts on hand for it to change out. Peal your backing off on a peeler board with your tint upside down and peel up with the liner going up. Always keep your peeler board clean. If you cut your film on the outside always clean the glass before cutting your patterns. This eliminates a lot of dirt from contaminating your peeler board, tools and film. Fortunately I always have clean installs due to these steps I take.
  10. The more you do of them the easier it will get....in theory. LOL!
  11. Did this monster van with CTX 5, 15 and lastly AIR 80 on the windshield. Super easy!
  12. I NEVER tuck. I do spend more time now days pulling sweeps out. I never have fingers popping up as I make sure to shrink the film before installing.
  13. Way to many cuts and stitches to talk about. Three herniated discs in my kneck from falling out of a truck and landing on my head. Blew L4/L5 flipping my rolly round chair and me in to the rocker of a car. Had surgery to remove that disc in two pieces that were not repairable. One knee replacement....three orthoscopics....
  14. Ask for a redo. Spots are contamination the haze is from his slip solution. Maybe he grabbed the wrong bottle of stuff to spray film? Ive had that marked haze when I have grabbed ammonia spray for stripping instead of my slip app solution.
  15. Are you making sure that water drops are not dripping from the door frame onto the glue side of your film thus causing contamination? I always wipe any drips overhanging so as to decrease chances of dirt in the film.
  16. It was mostly origional surprisingly. Paint redone and seats recovered. Gaskets and felts in origional but great shape. Her dad had owned it since it was new.
  17. Gently prying and pulling to slide them back up and over. So far so good. 😁
  18. Tinted my first old Mustang today. One of the very first ones, a 1964 1/2! The install came out super clean and the customer was beyond pleased. 😁
  19. Well....I have been working on cars since I was 13 and Im almost 53 now young man. 😂😂😂🤣😅
