Had car in shop but once we popped the trunk we decided to let this one go. Customer is hoping we can figure out a safe way to tint this thing. Anyone done this car successfully? Only thing I can figure out is pulling the back seat and removing trim around the electrical panel to see if we can access the area to make it water tight. Can't find anything on this car. Would love to tint this thing. Frustrating

This is what it looks like out of the vehicle. Everything mentioned above is dead accurate. I use the long handle tool to reach the two outer clips. The center clip will release with a gentle pull after you un screw the 10 mm bolts. Going back in requires as much patience. but will fall into place once you line it up. Headliner is extremely tight. Threading the 10mm back in is challenging. would be much easier with a cordless ratchet " Careful prying around the glass"

Water supply is most likely your culprit. Keep distilled water on hand if you’re using an unknown or unreliable source of water. Also I’ve suspected for a long time that contamination can also be coming from the slip solution. Don’t know how to test that theory. but the slip could possibly be contaminated in the manufacturing process (filter unknown) or carelessly leaving the slip solution container open leaving it exposed to falling or blowing contamination

I agree. Humidity will only help by keeping tiny dust particles from staying suspended

I agree with the Fusion soft pink clean. Once I adjusted to it it’s the one I grab throughout the cleaning process. Also lasts which has eased the sticker shock. Use it wherever it comfortable reaches

seems ironic that you company logo looks like the old solargard logo

May be the slip solution. Could have accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle

Well 3M color stable 20 looks pretty close, anyway. Tinted it today. Easiest two fronts on the market. Thanks Tint dudes 👍

Need advice on a color match for the Model X factory color. Two fronts to match the rears.
