A successful Sales Representative will be responsible for sustained and profitable sales growth with a focus on new business, customer service, value creation and general market awareness. The ideal candidate will reside in California. This is a salary plus monthly commission opportunity including full benefits, extensive training, and ongoing support.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support current 3M Dealers needs and requests in the Automobile Segment
Prospect and develop new business while maintaining and or growing existing customer base in the automotive segment.
Meet or exceed both revenue and gross profit objectives, while maintaining competitive pricing in the marketplace
Responsible for retaining/ expanding existing company relationships.
Represent Company in regional/national trade shows as required to further enhance its image and develop additional business.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking.
Collaboration alongside Trainers and 3M in region to support customer follow up, questions and ongoing targeting.
Attend trade shows and/or company meetings.
Analyze sales data on an on-going basis to quickly identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
Consistently provide outstanding customer service to all customers
Generate new leads and follow up on existing leads to drive sales.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
SKILLS / POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
2 years sales experience
Experience with Salesforce a plus
Ability to travel up 50%
Must physically live within assigned geography.
Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic, driven & self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written).
Strong relationship builder
Ability to multi-task, work remotely and independently.
Experience in networking and cold calling/prospecting.
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Proficiency with using a PC and with Microsoft Windows based programs.
High school degree or equivalent is required. Some college work is preferred.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and must be able to provide proof of insurance.
