ABOUT THE ROLE A successful Sales Representative will be responsible for sustained and profitable sales growth with a focus on new business, customer service, value creation and general market awareness. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Support current 3M Dealers needs and requests in the Automobile Segment Prospect and develop new business while maintaining and or growing existing customer base in the automotive segment. Meet or exceed both revenue and gross profit objectives, while maintaining competitive pricing in the marketplace Responsible for retaining/ expanding existing company relationships. Represent Company in regional/national trade shows as required to further enhance its image and develop additional business. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking. Collaboration alongside Trainers and 3M in region to support customer follow up, questions and ongoing targeting. Attend trade shows and/or company meetings. Analyze sales data on an on-going basis to quickly identify trends, insights, and opportunities. Consistently provide outstanding customer service to all customers Generate new leads and follow up on existing leads to drive sales. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors. SKILLS / POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 2 years sales experience Experience with Salesforce a plus Ability to travel up 50% Must physically live within assigned geography. Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic, driven & self-motivated. Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written). Strong relationship builder Ability to multi-task, work remotely and independently. Experience in networking and cold calling/prospecting. Ability to manage time efficiently. Proficiency with using a PC and with Microsoft Windows based programs. High school degree or equivalent is required. Some college work is preferred. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and must be able to provide proof of insurance.
  2. Interwest Distribution Company is a 30+ year old established Distribution Partner for 3M Window Films & Paint Protection Films that currently services 22 states in North America. We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative for the Southern California / Southwest market. The outside sales position will work specifically with window film customers. This sales position will focus on working with current 3M Authorized Dealers to support their needs as well as expanding growth in areas that require additional coverage. Key responsibilities include: Support current 3M Dealers needs and requests. Develop recommendations to fill service gaps within the Southwest market. Work closely with other Interwest sales team members and 3M to implement recommendations to fill service gaps. Analyze sales data on an on-going basis to quickly identify trends, insights, and opportunities. Develop an understanding of how key customers are currently conducting business and identify opportunities to assist them in growth potential. Develop measures for success and milestones with key customers. Assist dealers with merchandising POS collateral that is available and identify new needs for effective merchandising and marketing. Works with Interwest sales team and 3M to identify Dealers needs and prioritization of products and programs. Sales launch of new products and marketing campaigns in their specific territory. Overall, develop a strong reputation and view as a trusted partner by being a consultant in areas of revenue growth, improving consumer experience, and sharing general small business best practices. This role requires the following: Preferable hands on installation or training skills with window film or PPF. Strong people skills. Ability to travel 50% of the time. Self-starter. Problem solver. Previous experience in window film or Paint Protection Film.
